This course gives on overview of the elements of Management Information Systems in general, tourism and leisure in particular. It is designed to look into the key concepts on use of the different solutions/applications in the tourism industry, particularly the Global Distribution System (GDS). The course will focus on GDS as a tool for the efficient workflow in the travel sector. Emphasis is placed on providing a thorough understanding of how to use the system.
