This course provides the student with a holistic and sequential view of the development of the child, focusing on current issues and researches. The course includes a study of the theories of child and adolescent development, the basic principles underlying a developmental approach, the characteristics of children and adolescent in the different ages and stages of their growth, and opportunities for observing and interacting with children in their natural environment.
